First Week in Illinois
We call this the River road because it runs along the river
We have completed our first week here in the Illinois farm country. We met our ward members at church for the first time today since last week was Stake Conference and most ward members participated via Zoom. Everyone seems happy that we are here.
We also have been meeting members in their homes. Nearly everyone we meet is a convert to the church. We are working with several new members. One member was baptized only a few weeks ago. She is disabled and can only attend church via Zoom. We gave her the sacrament for the first time today and had a very spiritual experience.
We also traveled to Naperville last Friday for Zone Conference. We had a great experience with President and Sister Shumway and the younger missionaries.
We look forward to next week as we continue to get to know people and figure out how we can make a difference.

It looks beautiful there! I’m sure you will quickly find a way that you two will make a difference! Best wishes!
